Friday, July 31:
Queretaro vs Pachuca: Without the supernova that is Ronaldinho hovering over Gallos Blancos matches, we may see some football.
Tijuana vs Dorados: Tijuana finally has another local team! Assuming cracking the sub-800 mile barrier qualifies as local.
Saturday, August 1:
America vs Atlas: Atlas will be relieved that Paul Aguilar will be returning from national team duty.
Leon vs Veracruz: Leon’s opposition received three red cards in week one. I don’t know what that means for this game, but it’s certainly weird.
Morelia vs Tigres: Battle between the manager who people might like for El Tri (Ferretti) and the one that they will probably get stuck with (Meza).
Chiapas vs Santos: Chuletita returns to his club team as a champion. He made all the difference.
Sunday, August 2:
Toluca vs Pumas: These noon games are just wrong. There is no humor here.
Chivas vs Cruz Azul: Loser enters full blown crisis mode in the media. Winner averts crisis mode until next week.
